Ella has been growing out of her long pants and I wanted to have some casual comfy pants for her to wear in this inbetween weather so thought i'd make her a brand new pair of pants that she can wear now (rather than me always making clothes 2 sizes too big for her!). Had a look at my fabric stash (there is ALOT!) and thought i'd use up some of this super cute pink lady bug fabric - she'll probably grow out of this cutesy stuff soon so better make use of it now.
I used the pant pattern for an 18mth from one of my burda patterns (the same pattern I used here), except instead of attaching a ruffle to the bottom, I just folded it up a little and did a hem. It's still way too big for Ella now but we can get away with it by folding it up a few times. Atleast she can wear it for a little while - into next winter I hope.

Here's a few pics of her playing with the x-box in her new comfy pj's. Somehow when we give her a controller she knows it's not the one that's actually connected to the xbox and controlling the game and so she always rejects it after abit and goes after the one daddy is using - which is actually MY pink controller, 'cept I never play the x-box - just wanted my own Pink Controller :)
Here's a piccie of me and the little miss (excuse my messy wet hair!). You can see her in her new pants in full length - not too baggy I hope.
